I originally started this domain to be a forum for all the “Battling-Series” of blogs but, the spam is unmanageable in its current configuration - using phpBB … I know it’s not the latest version that has been released (I’m running phpBB v2.0.19 and the latest version is phpBB v2.0.22) but, this is what my issues are:

* I’m using a tool script to delete all the spam users to ban their IP or username etc .. but, it doesn’t delete the posts. So - I get a lot of “Deleted” posts. This takes too much time to delete and ban once and for all.

I must have spent about two hours today cleaning up our two forums ..

* PetLvr.com/forum/
* Battling-Forums.com/

… deleting spam, banning IPs, deleting spam, deleting spam …

I seem to have two types of problems.

(1) Spam registrations .. I guess to promote their website? These people aren’t posting ..

(2) Guest spam postings .. over and over with relatively the same spam sites with different names ..

Back in December 2005, Ruth and I were discussing the future of the HART-Empire Network. It was time to grow. Now, there are basically two simple ways for this “Network of Blogs” to grow …

* Acquire New Members with multiple blogs
* Introduce New Blogs from existing members

While these are both planned and viable options, but we kind of agreed that for the moment … introducing new blogs was the way to go. So we decided to join forces on this new venture..
