That is what turned out to be the problem. With the custom template I used to have (same as currently on http://HART-Empire-Network.com) the plugin didn’t work.

But – this new template kind of grows on me, and the CommentLuv plugin works like a charm!

The do action was above the tag…

It was showing as ..

I tried moving the do action above the /div but, doesn’t seem to work either.

looks like you don’t have the do_action in in the right place in your comments.php of your theme. try looking for it and make sure it is above the tag
