Is it worth it to allow new subscribers to my wordpress blogs?
I get anywhere from about 2 to 15 new subscribers daily who log into one of my many sites and registers their name and email. I’ve been doing this since ‘Day One’ .. that is allowing people to register as a SUBSCRIBER to my sites .. on the hope of collecting names for a newsletter or summary emailing of updates of HART-Empire Network news.
But - I wonder .. I’ve just looked at the last 2 months and I don’t think I’ve received any new subscriber that did not have a funny email name and on the MAIL.RU platform.
As you know, most registrations with the MAIL.RU email addresses are spammy - and, I will always believe that you are a spammer if you use this email address.
Maybe I should just block the MAIL.RU registrations altogether? Hmmmm …
